Run The Vines

Run The Vines presented by First Ascent offers a series of trail runs hosted on a different wine farm each month. Enjoy good food, wine, hospitality and music from OnSite Events in some of the most beautiful places the Western Cape has to offer.

This is an event for the whole family. Young and old can enter and it is suitable for all fitness levels. Walkers are welcome. There’s a 5km, 10km and 17km route to suit your challenge level - whether you’d just like a fun run or a serious challenge.

If running is not your speed, you can Hike The Vines at some of the venues. Hike the Vinest will take place on the Sunday after the run. Runners can buy a combo deal to enter the run and the hike the following day. At some venues, tented accommodation will be available so you can stay over for the weekend if you want to.
