"Cape Town must have item"
No doubt in my mind that this should be the most sought after item on the First Ascent catalogue. Works for everything - you can run, sleep, chill and swim in it. Drys very quickly and takes up no space in your hydration pack.

I didn't quite understand baselayers before I brought this, but now I do. Normally quite hesitant to wear an extra layer when running and riding as I overheat very quickly after the first km or two, even on chilly mornings. I find this Heatshield to be an incredible garment, keeps me warm when it's chilly then works with the body to ensure I don't overheat when warming up. I'm not sure how this is even possible, but this really is an unbelievable garment for those chilly days, even when it heats up! Great job guys

"Heat Shield review"
Best purchase I've made this winter. Very impressed with this garment and how it manages to keep me comfortable and dry on my cold wet morning rides and runs for that matter. I've doubled up on both the long sleeve and vest option! Thank you First Ascent!
