"First Ascent Lunar Tent"
I have had 2 of these tents over the past 4 years. And I have nothing but praise for it. For starters, the profile of the tent means it can handle howling winds and horizontal rain, while allowing you to sleep like a baby still. Not a single flap of canvas to keep you awake. The pegs are great, the don't bend, are lightweight and can be driven into the hardest ground. The double crossover frame makes the tent rigid, once again keeping things quiet and minimizing flapping. Large vestibule areas on both sides provide more than enough packing space for all your gear. The only downside are the doors. Because of the shape of the tent, when you open the door you can end up wetting the contents of the vestibule area, if the canvas is wet. To overcome this however, you can set up the entry system so as to enter via a smaller side flap. This reduces your door size, but is better to use in harsh environmental conditions. When the weather is hot, being able to open both doors fully is a great bonus as airflow is then massive. All in all, there is precious little that I can find wrong with this tent. It definitely is the best in its class, slightly better than the K-way solitude.

"Excellent value for money"
Entabeni Expeditions has 20 of the Lunar hiking tents. After trying many brands we are convinced that this is the best value for money in 2-person tens in SA. We use them in the Drakensberg, the Cape mountians, the bush and the Namib. A great, solid little expedition tent.
